- Registrations are processed first-come, first served.

Hints in completing your registration form for
mailing or dropping off in the drop box:
1. Be sure all information is correct and all telephone numbers are included in
the event we need to contact you about the activity. Include additional persons for the
same activity from the same household on one form. Please write legibly.
Better yet, use the
registration form provided to type your
information before printing and sending. If paying for a child, the parent
information is needed, including birth date, to create an account.
2. Enclose Payment - A personal check may be used for the activity and
should be made payable to West Shore Recreation. If using a credit card, provide the
number, expiration date, security code on the back of the card (3 or 4 digits) and a signature. Cash is accepted at the office.
- Please Register Early! Residents of participating municipalities
may register January 3. Members of non-participating communities may sign up beginning
January 10. If a class does not have a sufficient number of participants registered one
day prior to the beginning of class, it will be canceled. [Participating
communities: the Townships of Fairview & Lower Allen; the Boroughs
of Goldsboro, Lemoyne, Lewisberry, and New Cumberland]
- West Shore Rec will gladly issue a refund for any multi-session
program for any reason as long as you call the
office prior to the second class,
unless stated otherwise. After the
second class, no refund will be given. (Refund requests for a trip must be
made 30 days in advance, unless stated otherwise.) A $5 ($10 per person
for trips) administrative fee will be deducted
from the refund (additional charge for PlayZone summer camp). Refunds for one-day activities are not possible after the event has taken
place. Call 717-920-9515 during office
hours to request a refund. E-mail requests will not be accepted.
- Cancellations - West Shore Rec reserves the right to cancel any program
due to insufficient registration. A full refund will be given. Online
convenience fees will be refunded as a credit on account for future
enrollments. Inclement weather may prompt the rec office to cancel a program. If possible
the session will be made up at another date. If in doubt call the office and
select option 5.
- Confirmations - Once you sign up it is your
responsibility to attend the activity. A receipt will be sent by e-mail
if an e-mail address is provided. Otherwise, no confirmation will be
mailed unless you wish to provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope or pay a
service fee of one dollar. You may also view your past, present and future
activities online by creating an account through

West Shore Recreation Commission are subject to a
Code of Conduct.
- Program Information - All program dates are subject to change
due to circumstances beyond our control. Participants must provide their own medical
- Make-Up Dates - West Shore Rec makes every attempt
to reschedule classes canceled due to inclement weather and other
circumstances outside of its control. The make-up date is usually rescheduled
just after the original ending date. No refunds will be given for unattended

set to benefit the participant and make instruction more consistent for the program

- The discounted resident price listed
in the brochure is for
residents of participating communities (all townships and boroughs in the West Shore
School District with the exclusion of Newberry Township & Wormleysburg Borough). The first price is for all

participate should contact the rec office two weeks prior to the activity.
- Returned Checks
- Any check returned for insufficient
funds will be assessed an additional amount of $20 for each check.
- E-mail Addresses - West Shore Rec treats
e-mail addresses as confidential information and does not share or sell them. E-mail addresses will only be used to contact you about an activity
in which you are enrolled or to provide periodic updates with new West Shore
voluntarily enrolling in any activity offered by the Commission, each
individual (or the parent/guardian) agrees that West Shore Recreation
Commission and its partners assume no responsibility for accident or
injury sustained while participating in the activity. Each participant
agrees to provide his own medical coverage and take responsibility for
participating only in those activities appropriate for his personal health
